Terms of Service

By using Lea, you agree to these terms on behalf of your organisation.

Prepaid credit. Lea runs on credit your organisation loads in advance: 1 credit = $1. You load any amount between $10 and $1,000 at a time; there are no packages, plans or per-person fees. Lea does no work without credit.

Validity. Each amount you load is valid for one year from the day it is loaded. Older credit is always spent first. If a load expires with a balance left, that balance is cleared; you are warned 30 and 7 days before.

Welcome credit. When your organisation first signs in, credit is loaded for it once: 100 credits for the first 10 organisations, 10 credits after them. It is valid and spent like any other credit and cannot be exchanged for money.

First month. From your organisation's first credit, for 30 days, every job costs 50% of its usual credits.

No refunds. Credit purchases are final and are not refunded in money — see /pricing. One exception, in credit: before a draft is approved, it can be marked “This was no use to me”; the credits that draft used go back to your balance and the draft can no longer be approved. This is possible twice per task.

Auto-reload and ceiling. If the person who buys credit switches on auto-reload, the card last used is charged the chosen amount whenever the balance falls under the chosen threshold, and you are told each time; it can be switched off at any time. An optional monthly ceiling limits what can be spent in a month.

Approvals. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information your organisation approves through Lea. Drafts Lea produces are not final until an authorised person on your team approves them.

Suspension. When the credit balance reaches zero, Lea stops working until credit is loaded. We may also suspend the service for legal reasons or abuse. In every case your data stays visible and exportable.

These terms may change; we will tell you when they do.
